Pianists present musicale

Piano students, their families and friends of Harriet Motter presented a Sunday musicale. Performers were Carrigan Hudgins, William Meshack, Brennan Trussell, Emma Tung and Kyra Ullman.

Patsy Winston was a vocal soloist guest performer. Her selections included "Some Children See Him" and "Believe" from the "Polar Express." She led the group singing familiar and favorite selections. Kyra Ullman accompanied her sister, violin soloist Hayley Ullman. The students performed Sonata/Sonatina literature from the Classic period of music history. They will participate in an upcoming Festival at the University of Texas at Arlington with these selections: First Sonatina Movement I by Brennan Trussell; and Sonatina No. 3, A Minor Movement III by Emma Tung, both by L. Olson; Sonata K 39 (L79) by Scarlatti by Kyra Ullman; Sonatina in G Major Movement II Scherzo by Diabelli by William Meshack; and Sonatina, Op. 55, No. 3 Movement I - Kuhlau by Carrigan Hudgins.

A reception followed the program. Special guests included Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Hudgins from Ardmore, Okla.

Lisa and Steve Hudgins were recital reception hosts and Pete Ullman the event photographer.
