Employees at Fuzzy's Taco Shop in Roanoke recently delivered more than 200 gifts to needy families in the area.

Manager Kimberly Thornburg and her team, with the help of Hawaiian Falls Waterparks, started "Tacos for Toys" several months before Christmas and asked customers for gift donations for needy families in the Roanoke area.

In exchange for a gift donation, customers would receive a free taco.

Thornburg said at first it was slow going but as customers started seeing the huge boxes fill with toys they got into the spirit and joined in.

On Dec. 23, Thornburg and her team delivered the gifts.
