ARLINGTON -- Mayor Robert Cluck spent Saturday night in Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital for treatment of flu symptoms, according to a city news release.
Cluck went home on Sunday.In a statement, Cluck said even though he got a flu shot "some time ago," he had been ill for seven to 10 days.Saturday "night it recurred and required a trip to the hospital. Less than 24 hours later, I was home," he said. "I look forward to a quick and complete recovery."Cluck, 73, is a physician who is the hospital's vice president of medical affairs. He said he expects to resume his full schedule soon. He missed no City Council meetings because of the illness, a city spokeswoman said.Patrick M.
