A Grapevine woman was shot to death at her parents' home Saturday night in Grapevine during an argument with her estranged husband who killed himself in the driveway, Grapevine police said.

Authorities identified the woman as Kristi Suckla, 44, who had separated from her husband and had been living with her parents in the 3000 block of Creekview Drive in Grapevine. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her husband was identified as Kelly Suckla, 43, of Euless, who also died at the scene.

Kristi Suckla died from multiple gunshot wounds to her neck and body, according to a ruling on Sunday by the Tarrant County medical examiner's office. Her death was ruled a homicide.

An autopsy report on Kelly Suckla indicated that he died from a gunshot wound to the head and his death was a suicide.

Grapevine police got the call of a shooting on Creekview Drive about 10 p.m. Saturday.

When they arrived, officers found Kelly Suckla lying on a walkway in front of the home, Grapevine police said. A handgun was found near him.

Kristi Suckla was near the front door of the residence.

Police said the couple had separated, but authorities did not release any information on how long Kristi Suckla had been living with her parents.

On Saturday night, Kelly Suckla arrived to talk to his wife and an argument ensued.

Witnesses told police that they heard gunshots and then found the couple who had been shot.
