New hires

Court LeMaistre, FACHE, has been hired by Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth to serve as chief operating, staffing, ethics and compliance officer. LeMaistre brings more than eight years experience in acute-care, inpatient hospital administration to Plaza, where he will be responsible for the operations of the 323-bed facility.

J.O., a Fort Worth-based full-service marketing agency, announced that Darcy Koch has joined the company as public relations account executive. In this position, Koch will oversee all marketing, strategy, advertising and public relations for assigned clients and will work closely with the PR manager and account service team to innovate profitable marketing solutions for clients. Koch comes to J.O. after serving the last four years as director of public relations and marketing for Casa Mañana Theatre.

Promotions

Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth has announced the promotion of Elaine Shields to vice president of quality management. Shields most recently served as Plaza's interim vice president of quality risk, infection control and patient safety. In her new position, she will serve as a member of the senior leadership team and administer the Quality/Resource Management Department.
