It seems to me that those in Texas who are against elective abortion should be for every state and federal program that promotes the welfare of children from poor families (the source of most reported abortions).

I am still looking for evidence that the anti-abortion group is pressuring our lawmakers for more funding for Head Start, S-CHIP, WIC, etc.

Nor have I encountered evidence about lobbying for more money for Child Protective Services.

I am beginning to wonder whether they are concerned more about themselves than about these unwanted births.
