Weatherford Regional Medical Center (WRMC) will host their next Healthy Woman event on Thurs., Feb. 21 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center, located at 1400 Texas Drive in Weatherford.
Healthy Woman has partnered with the Zonta Club of Parker County to invite women ages 21 and up to learn more about heart disease at the annual Go Red. Think Pink. event. This program will have wine tasting from a local liquor store, Twisted Snifter, and also a dark chocolate tasting. The evening will also feature guest speakers cardiologist Dr. Steven Newman, internist Dr. Johnita Darton and Dr. Kimberly Strickland, a family medicine physician. Door prizes and dinner will be served. Program begins at 5 p.m. and tickets are $10.
