This Fort Worth man needs to go back to Stealing 101.
Parker County deputies pulled over Fred Fuentes, 47, on Monday as he drove a 2006 tractor-trailer rig with Indiana license plates in the 2200 block of Northwest Parkway in Azle.According to their report, Fuentes told them, "I know what this is about."They asked what he was talking about, and Fuentes said, "Why you stopped me."And why was that?, they asked."Because the truck is stolen," he said.The deputies informed Fuentes that they had stopped him because one of the truck's headlights wasn't working.They then confirmed that the truck had indeed been stolen in Fort Worth and arrested Fuentes.Fuentes remained in the Parker County Jail on Wednesday with bail set at $7,500. He faces a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.Fuentes is also a suspect in a Christmas Day theft of another tractor-trailer rig in Grand Prairie.After getting a tip, the owners of that truck found it on Jan. 10 in the 700 block of Cowboys Lane in Springtown.Domingo Ramirez Jr., 817-390-7763 Twitter: @mingoramirezjrHave more to add?
