Obamacare not free

I am amused and saddened at the people who sing the praises of Obamacare.

It's hard to believe anyone would be thrilled at the thought of the trashing of the best medical care in the world and think the nation is going to get something better.

First, one must ask: When has the government run anything without it becoming a bureaucratic nightmare? Just think of the IRS!

I just read an article saying the wait at the VA Hospital in Waco is 457 days for vets applying for benefits! Welcome to government-controlled healthcare.

How does it ever play out that anyone will be at an advantage when doctors quit because they will not be reimbursed for their services, patient loads increase and the system is overburdened?

Medical care isn't free, and it's not going to be free. Check your taxes, along with the multitude of new taxes well-hidden in the 2,100 pages of garbage written up and crammed down the taxpayers' throats.

Obamacare has nothing to do with healthcare. It is all about control and taxing Americans in ways we've never dreamed of.

If anyone thinks European-style healthcare is the answer, they are being fooled.
