I thought it fascinating that President Obama likened not raising the debt ceiling to eating a huge meal, then skipping out on the check.

Nothing could be further from the truth. It is more like having a boorish glutton (Obama) join you at your table, eat and drink the night away without regard to limit or taste, then stick you with the check.

It's time to sober up and stop this insanity. No debt ceiling increase without spending cuts and a balanced budget.

If we admit we can't pay the check, we might wash the dishes together.
