A 23-year-old North Richland Hills man was arrested early Saturday in connection with the death of his mother.Police found Angela Lozano, 45, a city employee, dead shortly before 1 a.m. in her apartment in the 6700 block of Buenos Aires Drive after a younger son, who is 18, called police. A North Richland Hills police spokesman said Lozano lived with her two sons.

Justin Collins was detained after being questioned at the scene. He was being held Saturday on suspicion of murder at the North Richland Hills Jail, pending a court appearance.

The medical examiner listed Lozano's cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.

Police would not say whether they had been to the house previously because of domestic issues.

According to Tarrant County court records, Collins was charged in 2009 with criminal trespass and sentenced to eight months' probation and a $486 fine.

Lozano was a utility customer service employee for the City of North Richland Hill, where she worked since 2004, a city spokeswoman said.
