The woman was identified by Dallas police as Karen Smith, 40.

Officers responded to a call of a shooting at the parking garage in the 5300 block of Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas.

Police found Smith on the fourth floor of the parking garage, shot multiple times.

Dallas police have arrested Ferdinand Glen Smith, 39, of Lancaster, in the case. He faces a charge of murder, authorities said.

The Dallas Morning News reported that Ferdinand Smith was Karen Smith's husband.

Dallas police did not release any additional information on the case.

In a separate attack, officers responded to another shooting call at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday near the Red Rock Bar, 18110 Midway Road.

Officers there found Waddell E. Roberts, 30, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told investigators that Roberts and a suspect were seen in a conversation outside of the bar.

At some point, the gunman opened fire on Roberts, wounding him several times.
