Fort Worth City Hall and nearby downtown buildings, including St. Patrick Cathedral, appeared to be without water late Friday after a water main ruptured.

The break was in a 6-inch line in the 1000 block of Jennings Avenue. Workers were expected to repair the line overnight, said Mary Gugliuzza, spokeswoman for the Fort Worth Water Department.
