The 59th annual Jewelry Charity Ball, benefiting Cook Children's Medical Center, took place Dec. 15 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. More than 2,000 guests, including many of the city's notable artists, business leaders and officials, donned black tie and ball gowns and entered an enchanted winter wonderland, where they danced to big band sounds, dined on Cajun-inspired dishes, bid on spectacular silent-auction items and perused an exclusive selection of glittering gemstone jewelry.
