h Cheers: To the gentleman who made my day Dec 7. While I was pumping gas, a man walked to his car in front of me, came back and stated, "Vietnam veteran, thanks for your service." (I have a "Vietnam Veteran" license plate.) His sincere emotion left me uncharacteristically speechless. I salute you, sir.

h Cheers: To the wonderful person or persons who made our day. My husband and I were having lunch at Pulido's in Hurst. When finished, my husband asked for the ticket, only to be told our lunch was paid for. Imagine our surprise. Bless you.

h Cheers: To all the Kroger stores and their television advertising. They had the courage to say "Merry Christmas," which helps us remember the real reason for Christmas.
