Governor Perry has supported a bill in the Legislature to forbid all elective abortions after 20 weeks. He proposed that fetuses can feel pain after 20 weeks and should be protected.
I can only wish that the governor felt as much compassion for the 2 million Texans who could have access to healthcare, for 10 cents on the dollar, under the Affordable Care Act.
