h Cheers: To the nice people who paid for my lunch at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant on Interstate 35W in north Fort Worth on July 29. When my waitress came and said our meal was paid for, I asked, "Who?" She told me such a nice family with beautiful children -- the family I had spoken to as they left.

-- Dorothy Overton, Fort Worth

h Cheers: To organist Michael Pope and pianist Kathy Hall of Edge Park United Methodist Church. They played a duet of Ave Maria. Together they make beautiful music.

-- Helen Bassham,

Edgecliff Village

hCheers: To Academy Sports + Outdoors for a great tackle box given away the Saturday after Thanksgiving. As I came in the store, a man handed me a scratch-off saying, "Everyone is a winner." I scratched it off, and a lady handed me a tackle box -- didn't have to buy anything.
