Regarding the story on the traffic court jam in Fort Worth: Can we still use paper and pen? (See: "Fort Worth hopes to erase 670,000 old citations from computer system," Dec. 11)

I'm a computer geek, but I do know sometimes computer systems have limits, especially when software does not live up to expectations such as in the Fort Worth Municipal Court.

No, don't delete the tickets that have been amassed through previous years because it's slowing the computer system down. Print them out and handle them manually.
