Driving drunk

Regarding Bob Ray Sanders' Wednesday column, "Officer's DWI charge shouldn't end career": I'm sorry, sir, but do you think it's OK for an officer of the law to drive while intoxicated?

He's the one who is supposed to protect us from drunk drivers.

As Sanders said, "we are all valuable," and so were the lives of every person killed by a drunk driver.

If the department has numerous incidents of officers accused of driving drunk, perhaps they should have desk jobs because they are too dangerous to be on the streets.
