Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst brags that Texas is 49th in state spending. Texas cut $5 billion from education and $4 billion from spending on medical care for children, the elderly and disabled.

This says a lot about Republicans in Austin and even more about anyone who would vote for such heartless and cruel politicians.
