I find it ironic that on Friday the big headline was how the Alliance Corridor contributes $1 billion to the Fort Worth economy.

On the 10 o'clock news Saturday night, they had a story about the lack of a traffic signal on the corner of Alta Vista Road and North Beach Street at a school crossing.

That's in the Alliance Corridor, yet the city states they just don't have the money for a safe crossing for schoolchildren?
