Does anyone believe Maj. Nidal Hasan is ever going to go on trial on charges of murdering 13 people at Fort Hood? Now, a new judge has been assigned (See "Judge in Fort Hood trial is removed," Dec. 4).
There have been years of delays and three more months of trying to decide if Hasan can have his beard or must shave it. He says his beard is a requirement of his religion, refusing to shave it. But when he was stationed at Fort Hood as an active member of the military, he was not allowed to have a beard. Now that the Army is putting him on trial for murder, does he have the right to have a beard? Who is running this show? Shave it off or keep it -- who cares? Just move forward and get started! What a shining example our military justice system must be to the rest of the world.-- Lynn Miller, North Richland HillsHave more to add? News tip? Tell us
