A toddler was seriously injured Monday evening and another man also was hurt after the two were attacked by a family pit bull, Mansfield police said late Monday.
Authorities seized the dog and took him to the city's animal shelter.The 2-year-old girl who was taken by helicopter ambulance to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth and her condition was unavailable Tuesday morning.The 26-year-old man was treated at the scene.Authorities did not release the names of the victims.Firefighters and police got a call of a dog bite at about 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Glen Creek Drive in Mansfield.
