Fort Worth man died of multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, medical examiner says

A man shot to death on Flamingo Road Sunday night has been identified as Dwaine Plummer, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's website on Tuesday.

Plummer's mother told WFAA-TV(Channel 8) that it was her second son to be shot to death since 2010.

Dwaine Plummer, 24, who was pronounced dead at the scene, died from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, the medical examiner's office said. His death was ruled a homicide.

Officers got a call of a shooting at 9:28 p.m. Sunday in the 5100 block of Flamingo Road in south Fort Worth near Miller Avenue.

No one had been arrested.

Lisa Plummer told WFAA that another son, Deshunn Plummer, 20, was shot to death in November 2010.

Deshunn Plummer was fatally shot outside a duplex in what police called a drug-related slaying. Two men were arrested in the case.
