I am wondering if there is a coordinating body for all the groups that solicit contributions for the 50,000-plus children and their families for Christmas. We have the Goodfellow Fund, Salvation Army, Toys for Tots and many others. Shouldn't there be cooperation so real needs can be met as well as making sure that all the families with children receive something from Santa?
I can't believe this is being done. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so much solicitation everywhere we go and on television, radio, etc. My concern is that without cooperation and coordination, the real needs of clothing and food are not covered.-- LaFon Commander, GranburyHave more to add?
