h Cheers: To Hayden and Bobbi Cox, our neighbors who have done many things to help while we have lived here. Hayden has helped with my car and given advice when I needed it. He also took me to the hospital and saved McDonald's coupons for my wife's students.

-- Mark Landers, Fort Worth

h Cheers: To Hostess Bakeries for standing up to the union. Now the employees, who won't be for long, can learn a valuable lesson: "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."

-- David Rogers, Fort Worth

iJeers: To a Fort Worth hospital for its vending machine policy. All the machines have only diet drinks and natural low-fat snacks. No choices for the majority of the public. Whoever made that policy should be working at a health food store, not a hospital!

-- Bob Allen, Fort Worth
