i Jeers: To the Fort Worth City Council for increasing the parking fee at Will Rogers Memorial Center to $8 for a public school event Nov. 13. The city should support its schools and either waive or reduce the parking fee for Fort Worth public school events.

h Cheers: To veterinarian Carol Cass, Wendy and staff at Westcliff Animal Hospital for all they did to help our dog, Hank. Tests, medicines and hospitalization were no match for liver cancer. Blessings to them for their loving care of our third geriatric.

iJeers: To a local movie tavern. My 19-year-old daughter took her 11-year-old sister to see a PG movie in the afternoon. They were turned away because the older one is not 21. I guess they prefer adults drinking to a young woman spending quality time with a younger sibling.
