One of the things that surprised me (not really) about the results of the recent elections was how many incumbent congressional members were re-elected. Many people in this country are concerned about excessive spending and the resulting debt. Who did those voters think spent all that money?

We must achieve a congressional reality that gets past the concept of cooperation that says, "I'll vote for your pork if you'll vote for mine."

The lack of prioritization in Congress boggles my mind. Congressional representatives have the obligation to do what is right for their constituents and what is right for the country.
