A motorist died early Sunday when his truck hit a guard rail on Interstate 30 and he was ejected, Arlington police said.
The driver, described only as a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name had not been released pending notification of relatives.The crash occurred about 2:30 a.m. near North Collins Street.Investigators said the driver was eastbound when the truck left the highway, hit a guard rail and rolled into a ditch.The cause remained under investigation.It was the second one-vehicle fatal accident on I-30 in Arlington in as many days. Early Saturday, a car carrying four men in their 20s hit the concrete median near Fielder Road, killing one of them.
