No. 11 Oklahoma (10-2, 8-1 in Big 12) picked up at least a share of the Big 12 conference title with its 24-17 victory over TCU at Amon G. Carter Stadium. If Texas upsets Kansas State at Manhattan, Kan. tonight, the Sooners will own the title outright.Landry Jones got Oklahoma going with an 11-yard pass to Damien Williams late in the first quarter. The Sooners began the drive on the TCU 41 after a bad punt and pass interference penalty against the Horned Frogs.TCU (7-5, 4-5) tied the game near the end of the first half, after Sam Carter intercepted Jones and returned the ball 43 yards. On the next play, Trevone Boykin ran the ball in for a six-yard touchdown.Jones and the Sooners quickly responded, though, putting together a 75-yard touchdown drive in under three minutes to regain the lead before halftime. Jalen Saunders caught the 24-yard touchdown pass and finished with 108 yards on the day.Oklahoma appeared to take control for good when Damien Williams broke loose for a 66-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. Williams finished with 115 yards rushing on 18 carries.The Frogs came back with a big play of their own, with Euless Trinity ex Brandon Carter taking a Boykin pass to the end zone for an 80-yard touchdown. It was his only reception of the game.The teams traded field goals, including one of 47 yards by Frogs freshman Jaden Oberkrom, out of Arlington Martin.Oberkrom also missed a controversial attempt from 32 yards. The kick appeared to be good on multiple replays, but officials could not review the kick that crossed over the goalposts.Oklahomas Michael Hunnicutt missed an attempt from 42 yards that hooked dramatically late in the fourth quarter.The Frogs appeared to score a potential game-tying touchdown in the final seconds, but a holding penalty negated Boykins touchdown run. Boykin's pass to Josh Boyce in the end zone on fourth down was incomplete, clinching the Sooners' victory.
