A highly respected and honored David Petraeus resigned from his position as director of the CIA because of an affair he had with another consenting adult.Fourteen years ago, another government official with a reputation as a serial womanizer had a fling with a young intern. The difference in how the media has treated Petraeus and Bill Clinton is startling.

One has to wonder who created the greater threat to national security because of these affairs. Petraeus' career dedicated to service of country is ended in disgrace while Clinton is celebrated as more popular than Obama. Maybe it's just an issue of perspective, but somehow something just seems to be wrong with this picture.

Is there anyone in the media who stood up for Clinton who would stand up today for Petraeus?
