The Nov. 16 story "President defends Rice as GOP raises trust concerns" illustrates the distrust some Republicans harbor for Obama. U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice's possible nomination as successor to Hillary Clinton as secretary of state is an excellent choice by President Obama and an equal opportunity in motion because he makes choices based on qualifications, not by gender or race.

The two Republican senators (McCain and Graham) opposed to Rice's opportunity of a lifetime are either snakebit or just plain old misogynistic.
