Stock Show Rodeo tickets go on sale Monday

FORT WORTH -- Tickets for the 117th Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo go on sale today at the ticket office, 3401 W. Lancaster Ave.

The ticket office traditionally opens the Monday after Thanksgiving at 9 a.m.

"This annual tradition reminds us of how supportive our local community is of the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo," Bradford S. Barnes, president and general manager, said in a news release.

"Some of our most loyal advocates have attended our ticket office opening for decades -- it is a yearly ritual for them."

Rodeo tickets range from $19 to $25 and will be available for "Best of the West" Ranch Rodeo, 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18-19; Best of Mexico Celebracion, 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20; Cowboys of Color Rodeo, 2 p.m. Jan. 21; "Bulls' Night Out," 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22-23; and World's Original Indoor Rodeo, Jan. 24 through Feb. 9. Check www.fwssr.com for times for the World's Original Indoor Rodeo.

The ticket office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Fans also can purchase tickets by calling 817-877-2420 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
