I have a solution instead of secession. We should separate our federal government into USAR and USAB, the R for red states and the B for blue states. All funds and laws of the red should be governed by the GOP, and all funds and laws of the blue should be governed by the DEMs. We should have two presidents, dual supreme courts and function totally independent of each other. The only thing mutual would be military support and disaster support.

There may be a complete migration from blue to red and vice versa, but that's OK. I can only imagine how long before all the blue states go bankrupt because all the top wage earners will live in the red states. I think the blue will have to figure out a way to keep their people "in."
