A passenger in a Jeep Cherokee who was killed in a single-vehicle wreck near Texas 360 early Wednesday has been identified as Lokuekim "Jessy" Kipasa, Grand Prairie police said.

Kipasa, 18, was dead at the scene, authorities said.

Two other men were seriously injured, police said, including the driver, who walked almost a mile home. The names of the two other men have not been released.

Alcohol and speed may have been factors in the wreck, which happened about 3 a.m. just off northbound lanes of Texas 360 near Webb Lynn Road, police said.

The first calls to police were about debris in the highway.

"When officers arrived, they followed the debris, which led them to an overturned vehicle," police Detective Lyle Gensler said.

Officers found the dead passenger and an injured passenger in a field. The injured passenger was flown to a Dallas hospital.

The driver was later taken to a hospital. Investigators are awaiting blood test results to determine whether any charges would be filed, Gensler said Wednesday.
