Republican reinvention

I read in the printed media and hear from the talking heads on television that the Republican Party must reinvent itself if it expects to win future elections.

Does that mean the Republican Party should reject the sovereignty of God, deny the rights of the unborn, deny that individual rights are not constitutionally guaranteed, reject that private business thrives with less regulation and that lower taxes create jobs that spur the economy?

If this is what they advocate, then what they really want is for us all to become Democrats.

I reject that solution as it is against the core beliefs of most Americans. If that's what it takes to win elections, then God help us as a nation.
