The best news I read in the paper Nov. 9 was buried on page 12A: "Rove spends millions, wins next to nothing."

I am tickled pink that Karl Rove lost more than $1 billion (of other people's money!) on this year's election via American Crossroads and Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies.

Considering his ignoble actions during virtually all of his political career, it is gratifying to see him pay the price for his perennial insidious behavior. This fundraising and fund-wasting debacle is an alarming example of how the wealthy attempt to "purchase the elections" and is not limited to the Republican Party.

Wake up, folks! We need election funding reform ASAP!
