Police on Saturday arrested a 60-year-old Arlington man in the death of his wife, whose body was found in a house on Robert Circle, the department said.

Jack Daniel Watson Jr. of Arlington, who surrendered after being contacted by police, is being held in the Arlington Jail on suspicion of murder.

Sharon Watson, 56, died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office reported Monday.

He remains in the Arlington jail Monday with bail set at $100,000.

Police believe Watson is also related to the person who called a 911 dispatcher reporting the death.
