Jeff Horton, in his "Election lesson" letter Thursday, says voters were "wary of the Republican Party's radical views on abortion ...."

What is radical about wanting to protect the innocent life of the unborn child? Before the Supreme Court's illogical 1973 decision, everyone acknowledged abortion was wrong. The Declaration of Independence states certain truths to be self-evident, among which is the "unalienable right," "endowed by their Creator," to life.

Thank God there are those "radicals" who stand up for this right!
