In 1960, John Kennedy boldly put forth, "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country." This election underscores the "new normal": Ask not what you can do for your country. Ask what your country can do for you.

We have become a nation of entitlements. We have learned nothing from watching Europe self-destruct. Pray we don't follow the same path. Oops, I'm sorry, prayer and government are not allowed.
