President Obama won and won big. The people have spoken. It's time now for all of us, but especially my conservative friends, to think of how we can help our president succeed this time rather than working for his (and America's) failure .

It's time to get politics out of our churches and put justice back into our Constitution. It's time to bring a moderate and respected Texas back into the national political tapestry. It's time to get rid of those birthers and Tea Partyers and obstructionists and far-right extremists and hate/fear/rumor mongers, and it's past time for all of us to re-begin the work for a better America that benefits all citizens!
