The Star-Telegram "Daily STEW" question regarding student-led prayer vs. the rights of others was obviously asked to promote controversy. The question that should have been asked is whether one should pray in public at all.

That question is clearly answered by scripture (Matthew 6:5-6). To paraphrase: Don't be like hypocrites who love to pray in public, but go to your room, shut the door and pray to the Father in secret.
