FORT WORTH - Police are investigating an early morning carjacking in south Fort Worth in which a man said he was forced out of his minivan shortly after being confronted at a drive-thru ATM machine.
The carjacking occurred shortly after midnight Sunday at the Chase Bank at 708 West Rosedale Street.The man told police he was pulling out his wallet when a man and a woman walked up to his vehicle. The man pulled out a gun and told him not to move, a police news release states. Both of them got into his vehicle and ordered him to drive off.He left the bank parking lot and then stopped and was told to get out of the vehicle.The man and the woman drove off.The man ran to the lobby of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and called police.He was not injured.
