A fight near a Haltom City restaurant and bar ended with three people shot early Sunday, and authorities continued to search for the gunman, police said.

Two of the victims were men and the third was a woman, but Haltom City police did not release their identities. Police said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Police received a call that a fight was in progress near Mojitos restaurant and bar at 4033 E. Belknap in Haltom City shortly after 2 a.m. The restaurant is in a Haltom City shopping center, but no other businesses were open at the time.

"There wasn't a fight in the restaurant," said Hugo Delgadillo, one of the managers of the restaurant. "It was a quiet night. We had closed the doors and everyone was just cleaning up."

As they headed to the scene, officers were told that shots had been fired, police Cpl. Joe Hackfeld said in an e-mail.

The shooter or shooters had left the scene before officers arrived, Hackfeld said.

Delgadillo said Sunday afternoon that he saw lights outside the restaurant.

"It turned out to be police lights, but the officer wouldn't let me step outside," Delgadillo said. "We don't even know who was involved."

Two victims were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and the third was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
