FORT WORTH _ A fire caused heavy damage to an apartment building on the city's eastside Sunday afternoon, but no injuries were reported, a fire official said.
More than 20 people were displaced from their homes in the Quail Ridge Apartments in the 4500 block of Brentwood Stair Road.The fire was reported about 2:30 p.m.Flames, smoke and water caused damage to one of the buildings, which had eight apartments, fire officials said.The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
