A Peaster ISD school bus, experiencing some mechanical issues, burst into flames Thursday morning, but everyone on board were safely evacuated.
The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. Thursday when the bus driver, in the middle of his route, began noticing problems and got the students off.Superintendent Matt Adams said the driver did a "great job" getting the children off the bus and to safety."He did exactly how we train in a situation like this one," Adams said.Peaster ISD is located in Parker County and includes the unincorporated community of Peaster.
