FORT WORTH _ What one man thought were trick-or-treaters Wednesday night turned out to be robbers, who stole his car at gunpoint.
No one had been arrested as of Thursday.The holdup occurred about 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of Spiller Street.The 32-year-old man told police that he was about to enter his 2003 Mercedes-Benz, which was parked in his driveway, when he saw two men walking toward him.Both were wearing "Jason"-style hockey masks. A slasher villain in the "Friday the 13th" movies wore such hockey masks.One suspect brandished a handgun and said, "Give it up," a police report states.The victim told the suspect, "That's fine, here you are, just don't shoot me over a damn car."At that point, the victim tossed the keys to the armed suspect, police said.The armed suspect and his accomplice got into the car and drove away.
