FORT WORTH _ A 25-year-old Fort Worth man faces a charge of improper photography/video after police say he was caught using his cell phone to record another man urinating inside a department store bathroom at Hulen Mall.

Derek J. Rix was detained by loss prevention security after a mall employee spotted the man allegedly using his cell phone to record the employee as the employee used the urinal inside a Macy's bathroom, according to Tracey Knight, a Fort Worth police spokeswoman.

Fort Worth police arrived and arrested Rix after looking at his phone and finding evidence of inappropriate images on it, Knight said.

She said police are investigating to determine if others may have also been photographed without their consent.

Rix was released from jail Thursday after posting bond.
