A man wearing a long black wig armed with a handgun robbed a Denton bank Monday morning, taking an undisclosed amount of money in the heist, Denton police said.
Investigators believe the same man could be responsible for a bank holdup on September 28 in Hillsboro.On Monday morning, bank tellers told Denton police that a man walked into the Wells Fargo, 1001 S. Interstate 35E, in Denton brandishing a handgun.The man, wearing the wig and a hooded jacket, demanded that two of the tellers give him money from their cash drawers.
