FORT WORTH -- A Fort Worth motorist who police say had been drinking at a party was killed early Sunday when he lost control of his car on a street and crashed into a tree, according to police reports and the Tarrant County medical examiner's website.
The victim was identified as Benjamin Gartman, 22. He was pronounced dead at the scene.The wreck occurred shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the 7900 block of Park Vista Boulevard.Gartman was driving a Ford Mustang south at high speed when he lost control, according to police reports.
